If you live in Bournemouth or Poole we will come to you immediately- for just £55, and diagnose the problem. If it’s a quick fix we will sort it there and then for the same price. If it’s slightly more involved we’ll give you a breakdown of the costs and discuss the best way to move forward.
6 Reasons for emergency calls outs
-
Fuse board keeps tripping. This is one of the most common reasons for an emergency electrician, and it’s usually caused by a faulty appliance or water ingress into an outside light.
-
Water damage. If you’ve had a significant leak it is best to get Innova out to check your electrics are safe to use before turning them on.
-
Appliance sparking. Seeing sparks when you turn on an appliance can be alarming but isn’t always as dangerous as it seems. There is a chance it could start an electrical fire though so always get an electrician to look at it before using it again.
-
Electrical fire- If there is a fire it’s important to call the fire brigade. Once the fire has been dealt with it’s wise to call a local electrician who can test the installation to make sure everything is ok.
-
Plug sockets feel hot. or you can smell burning- This is a warning sign that something isn’t right. Loose connection create resistance which can in turn cause sparking and increase the risk of a fire. Give us a call and book us in to diagnose the problem for you.
-
Fuse board tripping but the trip switch will not stay up- some trip switches need to be “reset” before they work again. To do this push it all of the way down before trying to turn in back on
